Work bee and village day
- Every last Saturday of the month at 11:00 AM
- April 25
- May 30
- June 27
- July 25
- August 29
On the last Saturday of every month, we come together to work and share stories. We start the morning in a circle and take on a farm project for the day. For lunch, we serve hearty soup to recharge, and we enjoy the outdoors until the sauna is hot.

Village sauna
- Every last Saturday of the month at 6:00 PM
- April 25
- May 30
- June 27
- July 25
- August 29
The village sauna evening is a cozy gathering on the sauna bench. Both the work bee participants and those who come just for the evening sauna vibes are welcome (tickets required for the latter). On village sauna nights, we heat up either our smoke sauna or the “space sauna.”

Daytime dance party
- Every last Sunday of the month at 1:00 PM
- April 26
- May 31
- June 28
- July 26
- August 30
For all those who want to party in the daylight and get home at a reasonable hour. The disco takes place outdoors or in the tea house, depending on the weather. The party is a family event – we keep the vibe fresh and come without alcohol or substances.

“The best moments of my life have been at Vana-Kaasiku.
Running naked around a bonfire with women in the rain. Bonfire nights. Singing evenings in the tipi. Harvest festivals. Solstices. Sunsets and sunrises.”

Silence retreat July 28–30, 2026
3 days of resting together in silence. A shared, peaceful breather in the whirl of summer.
- Imagine days when:
- a group of people has come together for some quality idling
- smart devices are retreating on their own in a cupboard
- alarm clocks don't exist, sleep as long as you want
- you don't have to think about cooking, delicacies are served 3x a day
- there is no obligation to speak or engage in social pleasantries, yet you don't have to be alone to rest
- you are carried by a refreshing silence to listen to your body with extra care
- there is no program you have to attend. walk in the woods, swim in the lake, lie in the hay, listen to the cranes
- there is finally time to read your favorite novella, draw, or take a series of afternoon naps
