Welcome to Vana-Kaasiku

Welcome to
Vana-Kaasiku

You have arrived at an oasis of peace and relaxation.

On the agenda: smoke sauna, classic-style idling,

lake ripple academy, and a masterclass in campfire gazing.

What is Vana-Kaasiku?

A holiday and community farm nestled in the rolling hills of Valgamaa.

The holiday farm creates opportunities for slowing down, creativity, wandering in nature, and nourishment for the soul.

Smoke sauna journeys and silent retreats take place here.

At Vana-Kaasiku, you also have the opportunity to create your own private event.

The community farm brings together wonderful people who contribute to the creation of this magical world, the food forest activities, and cozy village life.

Want to come and take a closer look?

A place for peace and joy. For being alone and
being together. For silence and buzz.

Large smoke sauna

Vana-Kaasiku’s spacious and powerful smoke sauna is located on the shores of Lake Näkijärv. This savvusann is one of the largest in Estonia, boasting two heaters and comfortably seating 14 people on the platform. Next to the smoke sauna is a cozy tea hut, where you can take a moment after the sauna, watch the fire in the fireplace, and rest on sheepskins.

About the hostess, Kärt

I landed here to build my nest in 2021. in the year. At that moment, 23 years old, with a baby on my hip, friends around me, and a clear vision in mind – to create a magical world.

I was born and went to school in Tallinn, lived and studied in the Netherlands for a while, traveled with a backpack, and in a magical way, life has brought me back full circle to my ancestral roots in South Estonia.

I am an introverted and healthily rebellious artist with soaring ideas and bold execution, whose heart calls to create a village for a new world and who finds immense pleasure in witnessing people’s authenticity and their relaxation into themselves.
